Charles Williams, CEO and Senior Partner
Charles Williams is the founder of KEDAR Information Technologies and has managed the company through its dramatic growth, global expansion and the creation of a superior executive team. As CEO, Charles directs the company's startegic business activities to serve the needs of forward-thinking organizations that are traveling the path to IT Service Management excellence.
Prior to founding KEDARit, Charles was a senior executive with a highly successful career in a variety of large business and IT corporations. He has provided guidance and coaching to hundreds of C-level executives and senior IT practitioners about their IT Service Management strategies and disciplines. He combines a comprehensive understanding of industry issues with a focused, business-oriented approach. He believes that rather than looking at emerging technologies in a vacuum, clients should first evaluate maximizing etheir investments in existing technologies to make positive impacts in their organization.
Charles’s expertise is widely recognized and has written articles and special reports in major publications, including Business Week, Information Week, Bitpipe, and Computerworld. He is a Contributing Research Analyst for Computer Economics, and speaks at industry conferences and business group meetings about information technology issues and trends.
Mr. Williams holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from the University of Iowa. He also holds a certification in Business Process Engineering (PE) from American University.
Phil Farr, Senior Partner of Consulting Services
Phil Farr is a Senior Partner at KEDARit responsible for advisory consulting services. Phil has 30 years experience in the Information Technology industry. He has created and managed global strategic information technology processes and management standards, and has had fiscal responsibility for over $50 million in corporate IT resources. He has also spoken on and authored numerous industry articles on the subject of IT Management.
Phil is a veteran executive with repeated success using technology to empower critical business strategies that increase profitability and improve corporate effectiveness. He ensures that our advisory consulting services consistently achieve customer objectives, and deliver strategy-driven and customer-focused services that improve IT's support to the business.
Phil is past president and an active member of the Society for Information Management (SIM) Dallas/Fort Worth Chapter. He is a Corporate Board member of My Executive Team, a Dallas-headquartered company specializing in C-Level Cross Functional and Industry consulting. He is also a member of the Technology Business Council’s CIO/CTO Forum for the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce.
Mr. Farr holds a BS degree in Mathematics and Physics from Texas A&M University at Commerce. He has spoken at and attended the Harvard University’s Graduate School of Business Executive Development program, the University of Virginia’s Darden Graduate School of Business Administration Executive Development program, and the Life Management Institute.
Ron Palmer, Executive Training Advisor
Ron Palmer is a certified ITIL Service Manager Master and Executive Training Advisor at KEDARit. Ron is also KEDARit’s senior training instructor, ITIL master trainer, and author of the book IT Service Management Foundations: ITIL Study Guide.
Ron has 13 years IT industry experience. He is an IT Industry thought leader in the IT Service Management Excellence space through writings, teaching, consulting, and one of the founders of ITIL into higher education. His latest book IT Service Management Foundations: ITIL Study Guide is the first of its kind for professionals studying for the ITIL Foundations certification exam or executives seeking a detailed comprehensive reference guide that covers the eight ITIL® books.
Mr. Palmer is a forerunner in introducing IT Service Management to the American university system. He serves on the steering committee for the University of Dallas (UD) graduate program in IT Service Management, and is a member of the itSMF Academic Sub-Committee. His book is the text used in the UD IT Service Management graduate program. This is the first of its kind, graduate program, and serves as the model for itSMF efforts in this regard.
Mr. Palmer holds a B.A. degree in Information Systems from Utah State University. He also holds certifications as a Microsoft Operations Framework (MOF) trainer and ITIL Service Manager (Master) (ISEB, 2002).
Caleb Williams, V.P. Training Services & Chief Technology Officer
Caleb holds the ITIL Foundations certificate in IT service management and is an editor for KEDARit's training publications. As a member of the executive team he provides business-focused oversight of research and development, media communications, and directs the management of training services. He is one of the senior designers responsible for the development of KEDARit's ITIL Online Practice Exams and ITIL Self-Study Kit products.
A stakeholder since its founding, Mr. Williams assumed an active role at KEDARit in 2005. Previously Mr. Williams was the Senator Mitch McConnell Political Communications Scholar at Western Kentucky University from 2001-2005. He was the distinguished recipient of the 2001 American Legion “Oratorical Speaking” Championship award and has been officially recognized for this honor by members of the U.S. House of Representatives and by Texas State Senate Resolution No. 822.
In 2003 Mr. Williams had the honor of serving as a speechwriter in the U.S. Department of Labor (Washington D.C) for U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine Chao. He holds numerous other awards in collegiate parliamentary debate, informative speaking, persuasive speaking, and has served as a temporary instructor at California State University at Long Beach, The University of San Diego, and The New Haven Unified School District (Union City, California).
Mr. Williams holds a B.A degree in Philosophy and Communication from Western Kentucky University.
