IT Strategic Plan Development We developed a strategic IT plan that assessed the current state of IT services to the business. Establish the desired state of IT services with C-level executives. Developed the strategic IT plan to improve IT services, including capital project prioritization, recommended funding, staffing, organizational structure, and process changes. This project resulted in a ROI-driven 15% IT budget increase.
ITSM BVA™ Assessment
We conducted a detailed evaluation, using our Business Value Alignment (BVA™) approach, of the IT Infrastructure business processes and developed an IT Roadmap of improvements focused on IT service support and delivery disciplines, using the ITIL framework. The assessment was focused on current IT processes, and how current tools support operations. The deliverable described how ITIL best practices and processes would integrate into the future-state IT environment, and built 1st draft new process models, recommended organizational alignments, defined roles and responsibilities, tools, and additional improvement solutions. This project projected a 19% cost reduction in providing IT services to the business.
PMO Deployment Worked with the CIO and other business and technology managers to evaluate the top 40 IT projects. Provided PMI certified project managers for 20 projects, and established structured communication between business units and the IT organization. Developed program and project management processes, standard work break down (WBS) structures, and standard project progress measurements. We also, developed documentation templates and guidelines for all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC). This project resulted in a 38% improvement in on-time delivery on software development projects in the first year.
ITSM Process Design and Modeling We designed and implemented ITIL and other framework best practices for IT project management and operational processes. We delivered rapid implementation of structured processes and procedures for end-to-end data center and infrastructure build-out, and support and maintenance operations. This project resulted in a first year savings of $549,876 to the client.
Infrastructure Process Architecture Implementation We joined with a Seattle based systems integration consulting company to help a large Financial Services company develop and implement a cost effective Process Management Program for their technical Infrastructure design and data center construction groups.
eBusiness Application Development Project Management We worked with an international Real Estate company to develop their project management methodology, and implement a Project Management Office (PMO) using Microsoft Project Server.
Enterprise Architecture Planning We worked with large a poultry company to help develop a strategic Enterprise Architecture Plan that included data center control and operations, merger of a newly acquired IT organization and systems, and the building of an effective IT Process Management Program.
Retail Kiosk Systems Deployment We worked with a Dallas based start-up company to design a retail kiosk based web application for the food and beverage industry. KEDARit designed cost effective processes for kiosk deployment, product fulfillment, and web based retail transaction accounting.
Implementing Service Levels We leveraged our BeAM™ methodology and technology expertise to help a large Financial Services company implement technology service level management and reporting.
